Dear family,
Although I don't know you guys except through our wonderful church family, I loved watching the video and seeing the precious family photos so full of love. I always felt the sweet, quiet spirit of God's love that Chuck carried with him in the short time I knew him. My heart goes out to you and I wish I could help you carry some of that pain and loss. As much as we prayed for Chuck's healing here on earth, I can't help but think that today he is healed and in the place we all long to be. We will never understand why things happen the way they do and some will say that we'll understand by and by........I don't believe this though. I don't think that once we're in heaven in God's presence that we'll even care why things happened the way they did. The joy will be so great that we'll just spend eternity together in complete and total happiness. Your whole family is in my prayers daily. In God's love. Vickie Sword

Chuck is one of the few men in the many churches my dad pastored that I'll probably never forget. His competitive spirit while playing softball was legendary. His friendship to me, my father and the rest of my family is remembered and cherished. He was real. What a refreshing quality in an era of plastic facades. Kathy, my heart and prayers are with you. I hope you feel the presence of Jesus' comforting embrace.

I was sorry to read about the passing of Charles your loved one. So I offer my condolence and hope that you will find comfort in the words of Jesus in (John 5:28, 29) "Do not be amazed at this, for the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice 29 and come out, those who did good things to a resurrection of life."
