It is so painful to suffer the loss of a loved one. May the scriptural thought in the words of Jesus help bring you comfort.
(John 5:28, 29)" Do not be amazed at this, for the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice 29 and come out, those who did good things to a resurrection of life."

Vicki, I'm so sorry for you, and the boys', loss. Bruce was one of the truly rare, kind and good natured people, that we all need in our lives. I'm thankful that I got to know him. Though it is at a sad time of the year for his passing, the love that the Christmas season represents is such a fitting reflection of Bruce, his life, and character. Please let me know if I can be of any help in the days ahead.

Vickie, my deepest sympathy for the loss of your dear husband and my treasured cousin Bruce. I continue to draw upon many fond, funny memories growing up with 'Flo Wax'. God needed another angel and he has one in Bruce that will add laughter to the joy. His suffering is over and he has achieved the ultimate victory. Rest in peace, Bruce.

Vicki, I am so sorry for your loss. No words can ever express the loss of a loved one, only time can help to heal but never take away the pain of losing them. I too feel your pain. Know that we at HomeTown care deeply for you.

Those of us who knew Bruce in his role as Board Chair at Blue Ridge Behavioral Healthcare have very heavy hearts indeed today. Bruce was such a warm, witty and supportive Board member, and Chair, to me and BRBH staff. His deep caring for reducing stigma for people with mental disorders of any kind and his calm, wise counsel was inspirational for us all. Our deepest sympathy and condolences to Vickie and Bruce's entire family on your loss.

I am the grand-father of Jesse and Ryan Gilbert who were friends with BT's son, Ben while attending Salem High School. The three of them spent a lot of time together at our and the Thomasson homes. Our condolences go out to all of the family at this very sad time.
