JANICE CRUFF MILLS

Janice (Jan) Cruff Mills, of Salem, went to be an angel in Heaven on August 12, 2014. She was preceded in death by her father, Essie Cecil Emmett Cruff; mother, Ruby Belle Brookman Cruff; and her brother William (Billy) E Cruff.

She is survived by her dearest companion and friend of many years, Marvin (Bud) L. Hickson; daughter, Sharon Mills Prillaman with husband, Jim Prillaman; grandchildren, Tyler and Ryan Prillaman; sons, Robb L. Mills with partner, Jeff Craig, and Micheal D. Mills with fiance, Laura Bachmann; Bud's daughters, Lynn LaDuke and Norma Hickson; sisters, Frances Lillie, Kathy Cruff, and Julie Klemm; brother, Jessie Cruff with wife, Ann; sister-in-law, Sherry Cruff and self adopted son, Tim Purcell; and many dear friends and family.

She worked at Graham-White Manufacturing for 20+ years. She enjoyed playing games and talking to friends on her computer, watching tv, and spending time with family and friends.

Her service will be held at Lotz Funeral Home in Salem at 11 a.m. on Friday, August 15, 2014, with Roy Kanode from Ridgewood Baptist Church officiating and followed by a graveside service at Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens.

Family and friend visitations will be held on Thursday August 14, 2014, from 2:30 to 4 p.m. and from 6 to 8 pm. at Lotz Funeral Home, Salem, Va., 540-389-9208.
