Wilma Moran Sowers

Wilma Moran Sowers of Salem, VA passed away on October 29, 2021 at her home. She was born on February 27, 1922 to Walter Abraham and Mary Agnes Moran.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 49 years James Scott Sowers; her son, Scott Alan Sowers; four sisters, Ethel Moore, Alvia Cundiff, Marion Butler, and Liz Sowers; and two brothers, Carl Moran and Pete Moran.

Left to cherish her memory is her son, Randy and his wife Dorise; her granddaughter, Heather Marsh; great grandchildren, Noah Marsh and Logan Marsh; and many special, caring nieces and nephews.

She was a grand and special lady and will be greatly missed.

A graveside service will be Wednesday, November 3, 2021 in Sherwood Memorial Park at 11:00 am with Pastor Dan Netting officiating.
