William Joseph Coleman

William “Joe” Coleman passed away on Thursday May 11, 2023 after fiercely battling an illness.

Joe served his country in Vietnam and was a proud veteran. He had unmatched mechanical skills and was known to be able to fix anything- whether it was a computer, car, or an appliance he could make it work. He had remarkable research abilities and compiled an impressive family genealogical record. Joe loved to fish and volunteer with the Veterans of Foreign Wars to honor and serve his fellow veterans.

Joe is predeceased by his parents Edna and Henry Coleman, his wife Dorothy Coleman, and siblings Alice Keith and brother Authur Eugene Aust. He is survived by his sister Sirena Poff and a host of cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends who will miss him dearly.

In carrying out Joe’s wishes, there will be no funeral service. The family encourages friends and loved ones to share their favorite memories and pictures of Joe through this post. If feeling inspired to do something in Joe’s memory, consider making a donation to the Veterans Administration (VA) or Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW) in Joe’s honor.
