Walter Allen McCue, born May 29, 1928, in Persinger, West Virginia, to Allen Rader and Daisy Armstrong McCue, passed away July 30, 2021 at his home in Salem, Virginia.
He was predeceased by all of his siblings (Ola, Beulah, Ollie, Opal, Virgil); his first wife, Lillian Abner McCue; son, Jimmy Roger Harrah and son, Donnie Bott.
He is survived by his devoted wife and caregiver, Blanche Bott McCue; sons, Johnny Harrah (Rita), Steve Bott (Clarsie) and Troy Bott (Kari); daughter-in-law, Princess Conner Harrah; numerous grandchildren; great grand-children; nieces; nephews; extended family and friends.
He was a general contractor in the Roanoke Valley for over 50 years. His love of bargaining lead him to be a regular seller at Happy’s Flea Market.
Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, August 4, 2021, 11 a.m. at Lotz Salem Chapel with Reverend Steve Parker and Reverend Brian Gordon officiating. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, August 3, 2021 from 6 to 8 p.m. at Lotz Funeral Home Salem.
