Velma Nadine Stump

Velma Nadine Stump, 91, of Elliston passed away at Salem Health and Rehabilitation on Friday, April 30, 2021.

A native of Virginia she was the wife of the late Byrl Edison Stump and the daughter of Wylie T. Moses and Willie Bradley Moses, both deceased. In addition to her husband and parents she was preceded in death by her daughter, Joyce Marie Stump and several brothers and sisters.

She is survived by two daughters, Shelby Farris and Patricia Stump; her son, Carl E Stump; three grandchildren; several great grandchildren; her sister, Bertha Burger; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

The family will receive friends at Lotz Funeral Home in Salem on Monday, May 3, 2021 from 6:00 until 8:00 pm.

A funeral service will be held in the chapel of Lotz Funeral Home in Salem on Tuesday, May 4, 2021 at 1:00 pm. Burial will follow in Moore’s Chapel Cemetery.
