Timothy Louis Cummings, 52, of Salem, VA went home to be with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on Friday, November 30, 2018.

Tim was a devoted and loving husband, brother, son and uncle. He had a wide variety of interests from cars to tractors and was skilled at fixing just about any mechanical problem. He was an avid reader, knowledge seeker, and spent most of his time listening to faith-based teachers and preachers further strengthening his faith.

Tim was preceded in death by his grandparents, father-in-law, Ted Mittelstetter, nephew, Chris Mittelstetter, and his four-legged buddy, Sugar Pop.

Left to cherish his memory are his wife of 27 years, Lori Mittelstetter Cummings, parents, Calvin & Barbara Cummings, brothers, C.L. Cummings, Jeff (Elaine) Cummings,
mother-in-law, Joyce Mittelstetter, sister-in-law, Dawn Tooley, brothers-in-laws, T.J. Mittelstetter, Toby Mittelstetter (Randi Cole), and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family and friends.

In accordance with Tim’s wishes, a graveside service will be conducted Sunday, December 2, 2018 at 1:30 p.m. Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens, Airport Road, Roanoke, VA. by Rev. Roger Counts. Family & friends are invited for a period of visitation
following the service at Calvary Baptist Church, Florida Street, Salem, VA until 5:00 p.m.
