Susan Moulse Hayes

1963-2018

Susan was born on February 8, 1963 in Roanoke, Virginia to Shirley Carter Moulse and the late Wayne S. Moulse.

She was the granddaughter of the late Brandon and Nellie Carter and the late Douglas and May Moulse.

On Monday, the 5th day of March in the early morning hours, Susan gave up her earthly struggles and entered into the arms of Jesus.

Susan was a believer in God.

She is survived by her husband, Curtis Ed Hayes; and her children, Tyler Nolen (Tiffany), Carter Doyle (Ashley), Nicole Doyle, and Cayleigh Hayes; Grandchildren, Cameron Shepherd, Carrigan Nolen, Daulton Nolen, Riley Hill, and Adyson Vandevander. Also surviving besides her mother are siblings, Gregory Moulse (Bev), Brandon Moulse (Wendy), Annette Moulse Turner (Howard), and Sharon Moulse Kidd (Brian). Also left to cherish her memory are numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.

 Susan was a compassionate person and was willing to help anyone in need. She will be missed by all who knew her.

In the rising sun and in its going down, we remember you.
In the beginning of the year and when it ends, we remember you.
So long as we live you too shall live, for you are always a part of us, as we remember you.

A celebration of Susan’s life will be held at Taylor Masonic Lodge, 1200 Texas Street, Salem, Virginia on Tuesday, March 13th, 2018 from 6:30 pm to 8:30 pm.
