Sonya Mullins Hartman

Sonya Mullins Hartman, 45, of Salem passed away peacefully at her residence on November 29, 2019 after a long battle with illness.

A native of Virginia she was the wife of Jason Hartman, who survives, and the daughter of Richard and Rosalind Sue Mullins, both deceased. Sonya enjoyed the beach, camping, crafts, and decorating for holidays. She was a dog lover, especially her dog Sadie.

In addition to her husband Jason she is survived by her step brother, Ronnie Farmer; special friends, Leslie Scutellaro and Sylvia Wood; and numerous special aunts and cousins.

The family will receive friends at CommUNITY Church in Salem on Tuesday, December 3, 2019 from 4:00 until 5:00 pm. A memorial service will follow at 5:00 pm in the church.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff of Lewis Gale Medical Center and Good Samaritan Hospice for their care and comfort.
