Ruth Emma Brown

Ruth Emma Brown born September 10 1941 and she passed away January 2, 2022.

She was born at Willow Bend WV to Charles William Buster Brown and Catherine Belle Wallace Brown. Ruth graduated from Union High School in 1959. Soon after graduation she moved to Roanoke VA where she started working for Allstate INC Company. She retired after 35 years from Allstate. Ruth was a strong independent woman. After retirement she loved to travel, bowling, and having lunch with her family and friends. Ruth is preceded in death by her father Charles Buster Brown mother Catherine Wallace Brown, Brother Joe Charles Brown, Brother in law Richard Scott Walker.

Ruth is survived by her sister Carolyn Walker, Sister in law Georgie Brown, Samantha Walker, Susanne Walker, John Long II, Zoe Long, Cat Long, Deshawn Hayes, Hayley Collins, Asia Collins, India Collins, and China Collins. Special caregivers who comforted Ruth in her battle with her disease Ann Meadows, Ruth Lynch, Marie Mason, Alice Anderton and Rachel Wilson. We were blessed to have Ruth in our lives. She was a great Sister, Aunt and friend. She can now Rest In Peace and become our angle. 

A graveside service will be held at 2:00 pm on Saturday, January 15, 2022 in Ballard – Harvey Cemetery in Monroe County West Virginia.
