Obituary
Roger "Freddie" Ritter was born on Tuesday, November 13th 1956 (Bluefield, WV) to Roger and Dreama Ritter. He departed this life on Monday, January 9th 2023 at Roanoke Memorial due to COPD. Roger graduated from Graham High School in 1975 and proudly served in the United States Air Force as a jet engine mechanic. He trained at Hill Air Force base in Utah where he was Honorably discharged in 1982.
He was united in holy matrimony to Dena K Ritter on April, 24th 2004. This union blessed them both with 18 years of marriage.
He spent 21 years working for Chromlax in Ogden, UT as a Press Break operator working with sheet metal. Later in life moving to Thomasville, NC where he worked for Matcor Metal Fabrication until retirement.
He is survived by his wife Dena, and sons Matt, John, James, Chris, mother, brother, aunts, uncles and many Nieces and Nephews.
He is preceded in death by his father Roger and sister Cathy.
Memorials will be given to The Church of St Peter & St Paul. The family wants to thank Roanoke Memorial Hospital from the ICU, PCU, Emergency all the way to the Palliative Care Unit, and especially Tony and Dr. Coffee for all the love and care they gave him during his final days with us.
