Richard A Baker Sr

     Richard A Baker Sr age 63, passed away Wednesday November 11 2020. He was loving a father, grandfather, son and brother to many! Proceeded in passing by his mother Barbara Ware 77, sisters Debbie weeks 60, Gena Moses 43 and brother Ronnie Baker. Their memories live on with us all.

     Richard was a simple man in life, he loved his family, children and grandchildren. He lived by the Christian faith, listened to classic rock and loved a good war movie.  Dad loved to cook! I always looked forward to his big spaghetti and chili dinners that took all day and worth the wait!! Dad was always willing to help, whether it was working on a vehicle or picking up the grandkids he would be there! Most of all he just wanted to get together and enjoy the company of the people in his life. Leaving behind brother Rennie Baker 62.

     He is survived by his wife of 40 years, Barbara Baker. Richard Baker had 3 children, Ricky Baker (Richard A Baker jr) 39, Virginia lynn Jenkins 37 and and Tina Louise Reed 37 (The twins). From those children there are 8 grandchildren Kelsey Baker 19, Kaitlyn Baker 17, Layla Jenkins 17, Trey Jenkins 16, Wyatt Jenkins 13, Sky Thomas 18, Riley Reed 14 and Shannon Trout 7. Some close and some not but all thought of and loved by Richard.

     Richard touched a lot of lives and was a joy to many friends and family throughout the years. Life of the party. Dad also had a big heart for his pets, his dog Lilly (lil girl) and little dog Titus by his side always. This love he passed on to his family. He was a great father, grandfather and friend and will be missed by many and thought of often. He lives on in our hearts and memories, We love you Dad!!   

     The family will receive friends at Lotz Funeral Home in Salem on Tuesday, November 17, 2020 from 2 until 4 pm.
