Rhonda Faye Bell

Rhonda Faye Bell, age 55, of Salem, VA, passed away on Monday, September 6, 2021, at her home in Salem. She is the wife of James Bell Jr, to whom she was married to for 30 glorious years.

Born in Front Royal, VA, Mrs. Bell was the daughter of the late Earl Gue and the late Joan Davis Gue.  Rhonda enjoyed cooking, journaling and spoiling her cats.  She adored spending time with her husband and family.  Rhonda was full of life and loved everyone, no one was a stranger in her world.  She had a smile that would let you know everything is going to be ok.

Besides her husband she leaves her daughter, Vanessa (Thomas) Harvey of Van Wyck, SC; her son, William (Jessica) Hodge of Craig, VA; two step children, Cameron (Shannon) Bell of Richmond, VA; and Kristen (Billy) Ruff of Virginia Beach, VA; her sister, Tami Spradlin of Roanoke, VA; and her 16 grandchildren, Robert, James, Layne, Josh, Kat, Sierra, Tabby, Morgan, Millie, Abigail, Sarah, Viviana, Kaylee, Billy JR., Rachel, Connor ; her 3 great-grandkids, Aspen, Rowan, Estrella; her niece Joni,; her nephew Bradley; great niece Billy, and great nephew Blaine.

The family will receive friends beginning at 12:00 pm Saturday, September 11, 2021, at Lotz Funeral Home, 1330 East Main Street, Salem, VA.  Graveside services will follow at 1:00 pm, at Sherwood Memorial Park, 1250 East Main Street, Salem, VA. Following services, the family will receive friends from 3pm to 5pm at the Bell residence.
