Ruby D. Mullins

Our dear sweet, beautiful Ruby went to be with her Lord and Savior Thursday evening, January 12, 2023 at the amazing age of 100.

She was a wonderful mother and mother-in-law who was always there when we needed her.  Ruby lived her life loving and doing for her family.

She is preceded in death by her loving husband, Jack M. Mullins, of Salem, 1 brother and 4 sisters.

She is survived by her son, Jack R. Mullins and wife, Joan of Salem; grandson, Robert L. Wiley, Jr. and wife, Laura, of Manakin Sabot, VA.; two great grandchildren, Avery Wiley of Parker Colorado and Carson Wiley of Charlotte, N.C.; a loving niece, Betty Chandler, of Salem.

We are blessed to have celebrated her 100th birthday at a party held at Snyder Nursing Home in Salem where Ruby lived.

The family wishes to thank all who loved and cared for her at Snyder as well as her loving church family at Melrose Baptist Church, Roanoke. 

A graveside service will be held Monday, January 16, 2023 at 2 p.m. at Sherwood Memorial Park, Salem, Va. 

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Melrose Baptist Church.

“We are sad and miss her deeply, but we rejoice knowing she now rest in the arms of Jesus.”
