Richard “Ricky” Franklin Painter, 63, of Roanoke went to be with the Lord on January 1, 2022.
Ricky was a man that could do it all. He loved home remodeling, riding his Harley, fishing, the rain and his dog “Lil Boy”. He was a family man. He cherished his family and lifelong friendships.
He is survived by his mother; Judy Painter; brothers, Eddie Painter, Sandy Painter, Michael Painter and Doug Hodges; daughter, Kristen Lavinder; and two grandsons, Roman Jack and Vance Alan Lavinder; niece, Taylor Painter and boyfriend, Chad Dailey; uncle, Steve See and wife, Connie; loving cousins, Kelli Hartman, and Rachel Spencer, including several other loved cousins. His loving former wife, Jan Galyon; and several other loved family and friends.
There will be a Ride for Ricky through Roanoke followed by a celebration of life announced at a later date.
