Norris King

Norris King, 91, of Salem passed away on Wednesday, November 28, 2018 at Carilion Memorial Hospital in Roanoke.
A native of Henry County she was the wife of the late Grover King and the daughter of William Rea and Amilia Hill Rea, both deceased. She was a follower of Christ, kindhearted, and loved and prayed for everyone.
She is survived by her three sons, Charlie King of Salem, VA, Ronnie King and wife Susan of Salem, VA, and Gary King and wife Gayle of Vinton, VA; her two daughters, Brenda Pratt and husband Clifford of Elliston, VA and Rita Hale and husband Hugh of Elliston, VA; thirteen grandchildren; eighteen great grandchildren; and three great great grandchildren; sister, Lillie Starkey; and some special friends at the nursing home, Elizabeth Helms, Katherine Cochrane, and Carol Fleshman.
The family will receive friends at Lotz Funeral Home in Salem on Friday, November 30, 2018 from 6:00 until 8:00 PM.
A funeral service will be held at Lotz Funeral Home Chapel in Salem on Saturday, December 1, 2018 at 2:00 PM by Pastor Raymond Martin. Burial will follow in Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens.
