Nancy Moore

Nancy Virginia Moore, age 93, of Salem, died peacefully on July 21, 2021. She was preceded in death by her husband, George J. Moore.

Nan was born August 18, 1927 in Huntington, West Virginia. She attended Jewish Hospital in Cincinnati, Ohio where she received her degree in nursing. Her home for many years was South Charleston, West Virginia, until she and her husband moved to Salem in 1972.

Nan is survived by her sons, Wayne Moore (Susan), Fred Moore (Debbie); grandchildren, Andy Moore and Casey Moore (Meagan), Gregory Moore (Taylor); great grandchildren, Ryker and Fenix Moore, Finley, Olivia and Mason Moore.

A family graveside burial will be held at Sherwood Memorial Cemetery, Salem, Virginia. She will be laid to rest with her late husband. A Celebration of Life is planned for a later date.
