Nancy Lee King

Nancy Lee Meador King, 88, passed away on January 8, 2023 at Lewis Gale Medical Center.

A native of Virginia she was the wife of the late Bobbie Gene King and the daughter of William Paschal Meador and Virginia Witt Meador, both deceased. She was a member of Edgewood Christian Church. Nancy was known for caring for others and her kindness.

Those left to cherish her memory are her three children, Cynthia Harlow and husband Scott, Pamela King, and Todd King and wife Clara; eight grandchildren; and seven great grandchildren.

The family will receive friends at Lotz Funeral Home in Salem on Wednesday, January 11, 2023 from 6:00 until 8:00 pm.

A funeral service will be held at Lotz Funeral Home in Salem on Thursday, January 12, 2023 at 1:00 pm with Pastor Donald “Eugene” Mills, Jr. and Pastor Sheldon Cosma officiating. Burial will follow in Greenwood Cemetery in Bedford, VA.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff and residents of The Park Oak Grove for their friendship, care and support. They would also like to thank the Cardiac Care Unit at Lewis Gale Medical Center, especially Nancy’s nurse Jeffrey, for their care.
