Michael E Jones Sr.

Michael Eugene Jones, Sr., (age 62) of Roanoke, VA., passed away on May 13, 2022.  He was preceded in death by his brother, William F. Jones, Jr.,

He is survived by his son, Michael E. Jones, Jr.; his mother, Vesta C. Morrison; his sisters, Rose Distefano, Evelyn Blevins, and Judy Clark (Allen); and his Aunt Velma Adams; plus several cousins; nieces and nephews; and many other extended family members. 

He was a carpenter by trade and did contract maintenance work for several hotels.  Michael’s greatest passion was that he loved to go fishing.  He also played the guitar, especially blues music. 

A private celebration of his life will be held with family members only at a future date.
