Margaret Sneed Walker

Margaret Joan Sneed Walker, 91, of Salem, VA went to be with the Lord on April 14, 2024 after a four-year battle with dementia. 

Margaret was born on January 6, 1933 in West Virginia where she met and married Otis Walker, Sr. in 1950. They moved with their two children to Salem, Virginia in the 1960s. She worked as a nurse for many years. In retirement, she enjoyed playing bingo, reading mysteries, and playing online AOL games where she met and chatted with friends. 

Margaret is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Otis Walker, Sr.; daughter, Kathy Lazore; and her 12 brothers and sisters. She is survived by her son, Otis Walker, Jr.; son-in-law, Jimmy Lazore; and her granddaughter, nieces, and nephews.
