Lucas James Dillon

Lucas “Lukie” James Dillon, 21, of Salem, found his peace in paradise on Friday, July 1, 2016. Lukie loved everything outdoors and every sport imaginable. He mostly loved spending his time with the countless friends he had made.

He is preceded in death by his “Pop”, Eldridge Richards, his grandfather, Calvin Dillon, and his uncles, Ray and Kenny Dillon.

Left to cherish his memory are his parents, Billy and Melinda Dillon; brother, Levi Dillon; grandparents, Betty C. Richards, James and Kathy Haley, and Opal Dillon; his furry loved ones, Charlie and Indy; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and cherished friends.

Visitation will be from 5:00-8:00 p.m., Tuesday, July 5, at Lotz Funeral Home in Salem, VA.

A celebration of Lukie’s life will be held at Bethel Baptist Church, 1601 South Colorado St., Salem, VA 24153, on Wednesday, July 6, at 10:00 a.m.. Burial will follow at Sherwood Memorial Park, Salem.

In lieu of flowers, please consider memorials to the Bethel Baptist Church Building Fund, 1601 Colorado Street, Salem, VA 24153 in memory of Lukie Dillon.
