Lois Jean Lester

Lois Jean Lester, 66, of Salem passed away on July 27, 2022.

A native of Virginia she was the wife of the late Robert Deon Lester II and the daughter of Effie Marcum Grant and Raymond Eldridge Vest. She was also preceded in death by her sister, Connie Vest and brother, Billy Grant.

She is survived by her children, Dennis Farris, Jr. and wife Kimberley Mullins Farris and Diana Farris; grandchildren, Dylan Farris, Larry Talley, Seresa Farris, Brandon Bousman, Alexis Farris, and Andrea Farris; great grandchildren, Braedon Weaver, Jordan, Serenity, Nyla, Mazikeen, and soon to be Gracyn; sisters and brothers, Gilda Emmons, Janie Dooley, Minty Vest Leija, Melanie McCarthy Correa, Carolyn Vest, Stephanie Vest, Curtis Vest, Raymond Vest, and James Grant.

A memorial gathering will be held on Saturday, August 6, 2022 from 4 until 6 pm at Central Church of the Brethren, 416 Church Ave, SW, Roanoke, VA 24016.
