Kimberly Lynn Shaver Traxel

Kimberly Lynn Shaver Traxel, 51, of Roanoke passed away on March 20, 2023 at Lewis Gale Medical Center.

She was born in Virginia on May 19, 1971. She enjoyed reading, listening to music, being outdoors, and spending quality time with family.

Kimberly was preceded in death by her grandmother, Ruby Beckner; mother, Brenda Shaver; and brother, David Shaver, Jr.

Those left to cherish her memory are her father and stepmother, David Shaver, Sr. and Dee Cale; ex-husband, James Traxel; two daughters, Christina Caldwell and husband Steven and Tiffany Ward and husband Matt; sister, Melissa Fender and husband Jason; sister-in-law, Angela Shaver; nieces, Ashley Santoemma, Brittany O’Neill, Heather Harmon, and Kyleigh Shaver; two grandsons, Grayson Ward and Leveigh Smith; and great nieces, Emily O’Neill and Nevaeh Taylor.

A private celebration of life for immediate family will be held.
