John Francis Marsinko

John Francis Marsinko, 69, of Salem, VA, died 29 May 2022, in his home.  He was born on August 1st, 1952, to George John Marsinko and Inez Christina Marsinko (Noel) in Arcade, New York.

John attended and graduated from Andrew Lewis High School where he pursued his passion of playing golf. During his time on the team, in 1971, they placed 2nd in the region and 8th in State competition where his short game was lauded as having “perfect putting style”

He worked as a warehouse manager for Kroger of Salem, VA.  He was a passionate golfer, Corvettes enthusiast, loved his two little dogs, traveling with his brother to chicken shows, buying and selling on eBay, and enjoyed visiting with sisters, nieces and nephews.

John is survived by Marjorie “Margie” (Laird), Andrew “Andy” Marsinko, and Mary (Bauer), along with numerous Nephews and Nieces and their children.

He was preceded in death by his parents George & Inez, and his brother George Marsinko Sr.

John will be cremated and his ashes Interred in his brother’s farm in Blue Ridge, VA where he loved to wade in the creek, see the deer, and enjoy the mountain air.
