John William Ennis

John William (Willie) Ennis, 96, of Salem, passed away Saturday, October 27, 2018.  He was preceded in death by his parents, Samuel William and Phobe Ennis; his beloved wife of 64 years, Minnie H. Ennis.

Willie retired from Valleydale. He enjoyed reading his Bible, loved watching baseball, basketball and football, especially UVA.

He is survived by many friends, including Bob and Carolyn Morris, Becky Rea and all his CommUnity Church family.

Many thanks to all who have given love and support to Willie, especially at The Oaks at Richfield and Richfield Recovery and Care Center.

Funeral services will be conducted by Pastor Tom McCracken 2:00 p.m. Friday, November 2, 2018 at Lotz Funeral Home, Salem. Interment will follow in Sherwood Memorial Park. The family will receive friends 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, November 1, 2018 at Lotz Funeral Home Salem.
