Jimmy Bruce Morris

Jimmy Bruce Morris of Salem, VA passed away on Monday, August 17, 2020 at Lewis -Gale Hospital.  He was a wonderful husband, father, Grampy, brother and uncle. He was a Master Sergeant in the Army in his early years and then a Minister at Roderfield Christian Church, Mt View Christian Church, Paxton’s Chapel and Patrick Springs Christian church.

He was predeceased by wife Judy Akers Morris, parents, James Ellis and Evalee Morris, his brother Kay Morris and his son, Allen Morris.

He is survived by a son, David Morris (Kim), daughter and son-in-law, Robin and Scott Sampson, daughter-in-law, Dani Morris Krahn (Rob); Grandchildren: Samantha Sampson Branch (David), and Hunter Sampson, Olivia Morris Tapper (Will), Isaac Morris (Kayleigh); Christina Gill (Robert), Whitney Morris great granddaughter, Ally Wilhelm.  Brother Robert Morris, Don (Dodie) Morris, sister in law Kathy Roberts and Don. And a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends and his church family.

A private service was held.
