Jeanette Blaha Spichek

Jeanette Blaha Spichek, 78, of Roanoke, passed away Friday, February 15, 2019.  She was born August 24, 1940 and raised in the coal mining community of Gary, WV. 

She was preceded in death by her husband, Willy Spichek in 2015, also her parents, Walter and Emma Blaha.  She was retired from Community Hospital after 33 years of service. 

Surviving are her beloved son, Jeff W. Spichek; special cousin, Jo Ann Saunders (Garry); brothers-in-law, Nick Spichek (Annie), Mike Spichek, Jimmy Spichek and Joey Spichek (Janie); many special cousins, nieces and nephews and friends. 

Donations may be made to Good Samaritan Hospice, 2408 Electric Rd. S.W., Roanoke, Va. 24018.  

Funeral services will be conducted 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, February 19, 2019 at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church, Salem, with Rev. Ken Shuping officiating.  Interment will follow at Sherwood Memorial Park.  The family will receive friends from 9:30 till 11:00 am at the church.
