Isidor Kuehn

Isidor “Opa” Kuehn, 96, passed away peacefully in his home Sunday, March 11, 2018.
He will join his wife, Lina “Oma” of 66 years that he has so terribly missed since she died.
Opa was born December 25th, 1921 and came to Salem Virginia from Oetigheim Germany in 1955 with his loving wife.
He worked and retired from General Electric in Salem and has been a devoted member of Saint Andrews Catholic Church.
Opa leaves behind a loving family who will miss him dearly. He is survived by his son, Bernhard (Joe) Kuehn and his wife Phyllis, two grandchildren, Brian Kuehn, wife Tena, and Wendy Smythers, husband Grant. He also leaves behind four great-grandchildren, Lauren and Jacob Kuehn, and Connor and Caden Smythers.
Services will be held at 10:00 AM on Thursday, March 15, 2018 at Lotz Salem Chapel. Interment will follow in Sherwood Memorial Park.
Visitation will be held at Lotz Salem Chapel, Wednesday, March 14, 2018 between 6:00 and 8:00 PM.
