HELEN ALTICE GARRETT

Helen Altice Garrett passed away peacefully on Saturday, September 3, 2022.  She was preceded in death by her husband, John Garrett and her son, Mike Garrett.  She is survived by her daughters, Patricia Cox, Joy Carter and Suzanne Gipson; grandchildren, Matthew Cox, Heather Showalter and Andrea Martin; great-grandchildren, Clifton Hatcher and Bella Showalter.

She was a lifelong member of Fort Lewis Christian Church.

She enjoyed square dancing, camping and bowling throughout her life. She especially enjoyed severely beating her daughters at Canasta.

She will be missed by family and friends.

The family would like to thank the Amedisys Team for their care and compassion for their mother.

Her funeral service will be Wednesday, September 7, 2022 at 11 a.m.at Lotz Salem Chapel.  The family will receive friends for visitation at 10 a.m., prior to the funeral service.
