Guy Thomas "Tom" Rose, Jr.

Guy Thomas "Tom" Rose, Jr., 62, of Roanoke, went to be with the Lord, on Tuesday, April 3, 2018.
He was preceded in death by his father, Guy Thomas Rose, Sr. and his grandparents.
Surviving are his wife of 33 years, Diane Rose; children, Jordan and Madison Rose; mother, Jessie Rose, of Big Stone Gap, Va.; aunt, Jodha Goodman and her son Ross, sister-in-law, Cora Player and husband, Chuck; brother-in-law, Guy "Buck" Davidson, also four nieces and one nephew, special friend, Dennis Coffman.
Tom was a graduate of Powell Valley High School and the University of Virginia, Wise.
He was an avid sports fan continuing to support high school athletics, a fan of UVA, but his heart remained with his Powell Valley Vikings.
Funeral services will be conducted at Noon Saturday, April 7, 2018 at Lotz Funeral Home, Salem with Rev. Everett Kier officiating.
Visitation will be Friday evening, April 6, 2018 from 5-7 p.m. at the funeral home.
Entombment will be private at Sherwood Memorial Park.
