Geraldine Belcher Weddle, 83, of Salem, passed away Saturday, July 18, 2020. She grew up in Floyd, resided in Salem, and had a full career in banking. She and Billy enjoyed traveling in retirement, cruising Alaska, visiting the fall colors in New England, and making an extensive cross-country road trip, visiting the National Parks and other attractions. She, also enjoyed going on trips with her senior group at Community Church and she and Billy enjoyed Gospel singing.
She was preceded in death by her husband of over 50 years, Billy Weddle. She is survived by her sons, Michael Weddle and wife, Lynn, Mark Weddle and wife, Debbie; granddaughter, Samantha Weddle; and great grandson, Landen; siblings, Nancy Bonomo, Pauline Stago, Margaret and Sonny Quesinberry, Brenda and Sam Hancock, Evelyn and Al Campbell, Lane Belcher and Robert and Debbie Belcher.
Graveside visitation beginning at 10 a.m. and services will be conducted 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, July 22, 2020 at Jacksonville Cemetery in Floyd. Please dress casual and bring a chair. Due to Covid-19, please wear a mask and social distance.
