Filmore "Fil" Lemmon

Filmore C. Lemmon born February 4, 1949 and stepped out into glory on October 26, 2021. 

Fil was born to Robert H. Lemmon (deceased) and Rebecca C. Lemmon of Dublin, Virginia.  Siblings were A. Harvey Lemmon (deceased) and wife Nina Lemmon of Woodbury Georgia; their children Donnie and John; his sister Carlyle Richardson and husband Steve Richardson of Salem; their children Travis and Raven; also a cherished daughter Laura and husband Sean Everhart and their children Duncan, Anna, Mary and Ella; great nieces and nephews Noah and Emalynn Richardson, and Clayton and Savanna McCormick; loving aunt, Mary Stokes and cousins Hope and Terri.

Fil loved the simple life.  His greatest pleasures was attending his church, Salem Church of Christ and the fellowship with the members.  Bible Studies were an added plus for him.  During this year of Covid he was shut in and health problems prevented him from enjoying this until lately.  He was a caring son who helped with his Mother and loved her dearly. 

The family will receive friends at Lotz Funeral Home in Salem on Thursday, October 28, 2021 from 10:00 until 11:00 am. A funeral service will follow at 11:00 am in the Chapel of Lotz Funeral Home.
