Eva Kirk Gordon

Eva Kirk Gordon, 87, of Salem, was called home by the Lord, Monday, November 21, 2022. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jack Gordon; son, David Lee Gordon; daughter, Jodye Matchett; parents, Arnold and Edith Kirk; sisters, Nettie McDaniel and Barbara Ann Allgayer; brother Durward Kirk, and her grandson Timo Gordon. Eva was a lifelong member of Fort Lewis Christian Church in Salem. She was also a member of the Coast Guard Auxiliary. She worked for many years as a seamstress and a dental assistant.

Surviving to cherish her memories are her son and daughter-in-law, J.L. and Gerdi Gordon; daughter and son-in-law, April and David Bennett; sisters Virgie (Leon) Jarrett and Robbie Francisco; grandchildren, Tina Foley, Danny and Kevin Blevins, Adam and Aaron Bennett; great grandchildren Carmon Harriston, Ben and Anna Blevins, and Kyndall Gordon; and one great great grandson, Keegan Horne; her dog and loyal companion Black Jack Gordon, and her church family.

The family will receive friends and family at Lotz Funeral Home in Salem on Friday, November 25, 2022 from noon until 2:00 with funeral services immediately following in the chapel of Lotz Funeral Home. Burial will be in Sherwood Memorial Park.
