Edna Waller Brown

Edna Waller Brown, 92, of Roanoke passed away at Pheasant Ridge Nursing and Rehabilitation Center on Tuesday, November 12, 2019.

A native of Virginia she was the wife of the late James Herman Brown and the daughter of Thomas Waller and Cecil Mimmie Taylor Waller, both deceased. She attended Calvary Memorial Church. Edna enjoyed pottery, flowers, and sewing.

She is survived by her son, James D. Brown and wife Linda; two granddaughters, Michelle Critzer and Angie Whorley; six grandchildren; and four sisters, Wook Bedwell, Lois Leonard, Emma Jean Parker, and Sue Porter.

In addition to her husband and parents she was preceded in death by two brothers and her sister.

The family will receive friends at Lotz Funeral Home in Salem on Friday, November 15, 2019 from 1:00 until 2:00 pm. A graveside service will follow in Sherwood Memorial Park at 2:00 pm.
