I can smell the sausage gravy cooking on the stove the wind and the rain crashing on the cove whether you was filleting a freshly caught fish or cooking us up a five star dish you always had a smile upon your lovely face and I wish we could all go back to that very happy place. The bonfires Burning Bright the Stars gleaming through the night all of us sitting around roasting marshmallows and hotdogs listening to the croaking of the Lakes bullfrogs. You taught me how to do so much and you always had a Tender Touch you taught me how to plant a seed so later in life my family I could feed. You showed me how to harvest a crop although I didn't never quite learn how to use that mop .staying with you with such a gift everyone's Spirits you would always uplift even when you was tired and worn you showed me how to care for my first born .you taught me how to swaddle her tight and you told me not to worry everything would be alright. you never told on me when I was bad you just said if this happens again I'll have to tell your dad .even when I almost burnt down your house you never said a word you was quiet as a mouse .I'm so grateful for the Memories we shared and for you letting me know you always cared there will be no more Chef Boyardee pizza no more chili no more wonderful dinners and no more snuggling with hot chocolate in the Long Cold Winters . you told me once we were all here on loan and one day we will be called back home well that day has come for you to go and I feel so broken and what to do I don't know .so I'm going to try to do what you would wish and hold on to the memory of our goodbye kiss .you will be greatly missed we have all lost our families mother a love like yours we'll never find another.

The Lost angel
Her broken wings could fly no more,
her spirit trapped behind the wicked door.
She spends her days Longing To Be Free ,
Oh how it hurts the way she had to be.
An angel who was trapped in hell never knowing how or why she fell
she never meant to be unkind, things are just so mixed-up in her mind
she never could quite understand, in that place how did she land?
to her it was all a mixed up mess, to get through a day she did her best
through the Halls she would roam . This place was not her home !
why am I here ? she did not know, back to her family she wants to go
if only she could remember things and stay on her feet, then she could go because their goals she would meet .
hours turn to days, days to weeks, weeks to months ,and months to years , eventually she cried no more longing tears
she knew this would always be her fate , so for death to come she would just wait
day-by-day by day she would pray, Lord please let this be my day!
through all the pain ,all her fears, suffering all those lonely years, something amazing this night will bring ...what has happened to her broken wings!!?
she feels no pain, no more fear, and does not cry her lonely tears
then she sees that smiling face she rushes into a loving embrace oh my son I've missed you so!!!! I love you Mom it's time to let go. and with those words she took Robert's hand and he walked his mother to the promised Land
her broken wings are broke no more, through the heavens her spirit now sores.

Grandma,
Thank you for being such a positive role model in my life. You had a tremendous impact on the person that I am. I know that you are finally at peace and are happier than I could ever imagine. You will be missed so much but your legacy will live on in all of your grandchildren and great grandchildren. We are all so blessed to have been able to call you our Grandma. I love you and look forward to the day that I get to see you again! All my love, Dee-Anne
