Esther Green Reed

Esther was preceded in death by her husband, Zannie C. Reed; brother, Cletus Green; and sister, Ruby G. Hurt.

She is survived by her son, Sonny Reed and wife, Beverly; daughter, Phyllis Platter; also, three grandchildren, Travis Reed and wife, Ce-Anna, Heather Reed and Amy Prillaman; seven great grandchildren; and two great-great grandchildren; also one sister, Effie Nichols, of Cooper Hill.

Esther was a longtime member of The Church Of The Brethren.

The family wishes to extend a special thank you to Helen and Kristie at Heart and Hands.  Their kindness and loving care in Esther’s final days was so appreciated.

A Private Graveside service will be held.
