Ellen Fanning Davis

Ellen Fanning Davis, 85, of Salem, passed away Saturday, September 22, 2018. She was born in White Gate, VA.  She was an active member of St. Peter & St. Paul Church for many years, where she sang in the choir.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Henry K. Davis, Sr. 

Surviving are a son, Henry Keith Davis, Jr. (Katherine); and a daughter, Darlene Deyerle; grandchildren, Thomas Davis and Brandon Davis (Brittany); great grandchildren, Emery Davis and Audrey Davis. 

Funeral services will be conducted 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, September 25, 2018 at the Church of St. Peter & St. Paul, Roanoke.  Interment will follow in Sherwood Memorial Park.  The family will receive friends 5 to 7 p.m. on Monday, September 24, 2018 at Lotz funeral Home Salem.
