So sorry for the loss of Ed. I'm certain that he is celebrating being with Jesus. We should be jealous that he got there first (while we still must toil).

The memorial video was very touching! He lived life in a big way. We're glad we got to be part of his journey.

Sorry that we couldn't attend the service. I'm certain you are surrounded with comfort and sympathy at this difficult time.

Please know that we are with you in our thoughts and prayers.

Ed was a kind and wonderful man, i haven't known him very long. But from what I've seen and heard he was a very loved man. My boyfriend Larry Reece spoke highly of Ed. My thoughts and prayers are with Brenda and everyone that had the pleasure of knowing Ed. My sincere condolences

I was so sorry to hear about Ed. He was a very special person and I remember him fondly from my years in Lewis Gale Radiology. He was smart, fun loving , and always could answer any technical question about the CT scanner. (and I asked a lot of questions!) My thoughts are with you.

Brenda - my condolences to you and all those who loved Ed as much as Ken and I did. He was the kindest, most gentle person I ever met in ballooning and was very supportive of me when Ken died. It is very sad to see this generation of balloonists fading away. May you rejoice in remembering all your good times with Ed.

Ed was a great man. He lived ballooning and the people that surrounded it. I never will forget the last conversation we had in Anderson! I will cherish my calypso pin forever ! Brenda I hope god gives you comfort that only he can! Cathy, Angie , Jim and Sandi never let your light go dim because the light in you is the same light that I see in ed! I wish I could be there on Saturday but know my thoughts and prayers are with you all !

Brenda, I'm so very sorry for your loss. You are in my prayers. I only met Ed one time, but everything you said about him when we worked together showed how much you loved each other. He will always be in your heart and you will be together again one day. If you need anything, please remember I'm here anytime.

Ed was a kind considerate person, I worked with Ed for years and he was loved by all of us . He was always upbeat and happy and a joy to be around Ed made us all smile every time we seen him. He will be terribly missed both as a co-worker and a friend.

I remember Ed as a gentleman with humor. I really enjoyed having a conversation with Ed at Balloons Over Anderson. I remember him giving me a pin of his balloon "Calypso" at Balloons Over Anderson. I'm going to miss seeing Ed and his crew at ballooning events in the Carolinas. I'm going to miss seeing his balloons "Havana Daydreaming", "Voodoo", and "Calypso". Ed was he adventurous type. I could tell he enjoyed anything with a tropical theme. I remember his wife saying that they were Jimmy Buffet fans. Ed you will be missed. Lots of love, Parker
