Mr Dennis Lee Farris

Dennis Lee Farris, Sr., 69 of Roanoke died Thursday, August 9, 2018. He is preceded in death by his parents, Herbert L. Farris and Helen F. Farris; brother and sister, Jerry A. Farris and Ella F. Snyder; nephew, Rodney L. Sink. Dennis was so full of life and lived it to the fullest.

He leaves behind two children, Diana Farris and Dennis L. Farris, Jr.; ex-wife, Lois J. Lester who remained a part of the family; brother and sisters, Jeffrey W. Farris, Terri L. Gibson and Bonnie G. Farris; six grandchildren; three great-grandchildren. “Fly High Free Bird”

A celebration of Dennis’ life will be held 1 pm, Friday, August 17, 2018 at Lotz Funeral Home, 1330 East Main Street, Salem. The family will receive friends 1 hr. prior to the service. Burial will follow at Jeter’s Chapel Cemetery.
