Daryl B. Lafon

Daryl B. Lafon, 70, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, Sept. 3, 2023. He was the son of the late, Harold Meadows Lafon. He is survived by his mother, Eva Mae Lafon; brother, Harold (Dee) Lafon; and special lifelong friend, Wanda Slate.

Daryl was a graduate of Narrows High School in 1971. He served in the United States Army and then went to work at AT&T where he would retire. His hobbies included trout fishing and watching his beloved VT Hokies and Dallas Cowboys. Daryl was also a member of Rich Creek First United Methodist. Special thank you to Rich Creek First United Methodist for your help with Daryl.

It was Daryl's wish that memorials be made to Rich Creek First United Methodist at 108 Old Virginia Ave, Rich Creek, VA 24147.

A Memorial Service will be held at Noon on Monday, September 11, 2023, at Rich Creek First United Methodist Church.
