Cindy Harrison

Cindy Harrison, 71, of Salem passed away on Sunday, August 8, 2021.

Cindy was born in Virginia to Jack and Clara Schoonover, both deceased. She retired from Glenvar Elementary School System after many years of service as a secretary. Cindy was a member of Fellowship Community Church. She was known for her witty sarcastic humor and when asked how she was doing she always had the same response “short, fat, and sassy”.

Cindy is survived by her son, Scott Harrison; grandson, Chance Harrison; sister, Gail Euglow; brother and sister in law, Roger and Sheila Harrison; nieces and nephews, Dean and Dana Kelly, Mike and Sarah Euglow, Jon and Judy Willenborg, Darryl Schoonover, and Curtis Calvert; and her special friend, Erin Wright.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her brother, Jackie Schoonover; brother in law, Ken Euglow and; and her fur babies.

The family will receive friends at Lotz Funeral Home in Salem on Saturday, August 14, 2021 from 9:30 until 10:30 am. A graveside service will follow at Cedar Lawn Memorial Park at 11:00 am.
