Clyde Douglas "Bubba" Board

Clyde Douglas “Bubba” Board, 72, of Roanoke passed away on Wednesday, June 1, 2022.

He was the husband of the late Rebecca Fowler Board. He served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. Doug worked in drywall construction for many years. He was a fan of Mopar and Richard Petty.

Doug is survived by his daughter, Amy England and husband Devin; granddaughters, Caelyn and Brenna England; many other loving family members; and numerous close friends.

The family will receive friends at First Church of the Brethren, 2001 Carroll Ave NW, Roanoke, on Tuesday, June 7, 2022 from 11:00 am until Noon. A memorial service will follow in the church at Noon with Pastor Dava Hensley officiating. Burial with military honors will be held in Evergreen Burial Park following the memorial service.
