Christopher Jason Luper, 45, of Roanoke County, Virginia, passed away peacefully at home on Wednesday, December 30, 2020 after a 14-year battle with brain cancer. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Eugene and Anna Mae Luper; and maternal grandparents, T. Fred and Emma Williams.
Jason is survived by his beloved wife of 19 years, Chastity Emory Luper; one daughter, Avery Ann Luper, and one son, Wade Joseph Luper, both of the home. Also survived by his parents, George Kyle and Judy W. Luper; one brother, George Wesley Luper and wife, Christy; one nephew, Cody Luper and fiancé, Jordyn Markle; one niece, Savana Dawn Luper; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Jason was a member of Mason Cove Chapel and a 1993 graduate of Northside High School. He earned an Associate Degree from Virginia Western and was a 17 plus year employee of Trane as a HVAC Tech.
Family to receive friends at Lotz in Salem from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Monday evening January 4, 2021. Funeral services will be held at Lotz Chapel in Salem, VA, on Tuesday, January 5. 2021 at 10:00 am with burial at Summerfield Cemetery in Grayson County, Virginia with the Rev. Arley (Sonny) Miller officiating.
