BARBARA WILSON

Barbara Palmer Wilson, “Grandma Sticky or Sticky G” – known for her perfectly hair sprayed hair. 

In every family, there is one person who tends to be the glue who holds everything into place, Barbara was that glue, our matriarch. Family was the most important thing to her. She was always ready to help anyone who may need it. In her time as a Sunday school teacher, she shared her faith and love for God with the most impressionable, children. Our hearts mourn her passing, but we know she will be watching over all of us, until we meet again. Her legacy lives on through all of her children, grandchildren, and great grandbabies.

Barbara was preceded in death by her parents, Clyde and Beatrice Maureen Palmer, brother, Clyde Junior Palmer, and Son-in-law, Gary Douglas Pruett.

Barbara is survived by ex-husband, David Wilson; children, Angela and Donnie Mahala, Channey and Alina Wilson, and Melinda Pruett; grandchildren, Laken Hollandsworth and Corey Foster, Mindy and Aaron Boothe, Lexi Mahala, Dakota Hollandsworth, Tayler Wilson, Collin Wilson, and Ksenya Wilson; great grandbabies, Levi and Grayson Boothe and Jacobie and Katara Foster; siblings, sister/best friend, Sandra and Jimmy Poff, Goldie Meatcham, Mary Wood; and sister-in-law. Sue Palmer, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be conducted at 3 p.m. on Thursday, September 10, 2020, at Lotz Salem Chapel.  The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
