Tribute

Annie F. Keffer, 94, went home to be with the Lord on March 5, 2019.  She was a graduate of William Byrd High School and was a renowned softball pitcher in her youth.  A devoted wife and loving mother, she served for many years as a Sunday School teacher and song leader at Mason Cove Chapel.  In addition to her love of singing and softball, she had a legendary sweet tooth, a trait she passed along to her children and grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Lawrence L. Keffer.

Annie is survived by her sons, Roger Keffer (Brenda) and Terry Keffer (Karen), grandchildren Jennifer Paterson (Glenn), Jason Keffer, Amanda Keffer and Nathan Keffer, five great grandchildren and one great great grandchild.

Visitation will be from noon until 2:00 p.m. on Friday, March 8, 2019 at Lotz Salem Chapel.  Funeral services will follow at 2:00p.m. with the Rev. Richard Gilbert officiating.  The family would like to thank Friendship Assisted Living for eight years of loving care.
