Anne D Totten
January 13, 1929 - April 5, 2021

Anne D Totten (formerly Anne Dunlap) 92, a longtime resident of Roanoke, Virginia, passed on to her heavenly resting place on Monday, April 5, 2021.  She was one of seven children of Sallie T. Dunlap and William McClure Dunlap.

Anne was predeceased by her parents, Sallie and Bill; her husband, Fredrick Eugene Totten; four brothers, Bill, Robert, Jimmy and Henry; and two sisters, Louise, and Sally Lee.
Anne is survived by her children: Katherine Louise Totten, Mary Anne Totten, and Bob Totten and many nieces and nephews including Linda Call and Robin Dunlap.

She was a graduate of the University Of Virginia Hospital School Of Nursing 1950. She still cheers for the Cavaliers.  She entered the Air Force and achieved the rank of Lieutenant in active duty and later was awarded Captain in the reserves.  She was stationed at Maxwell Air Force Base, Alabama as an Air Force Nurse.
Anne returned home to Roanoke in 1987 after her husband died. She was a regular attendee and sometime usher at Raleigh Court Presbyterian Church.  Anne helped with the suppers at the church and was a fixture in the Bible Study group. She also helped her older sister and mother in their later years.

A graveside service will be held in Sherwood Memorial Park in Salem, VA., on, Tuesday, April 13, 2021 at 11 a.m. 

Anne loved animals and was comforted by adoptions she made from the SPCA.  Memorials in her honor may be made to the SPCA at:
