Alene Richardson

Alene Reese Richardson, 94, of Salem, Virginia, went to be with the Lord on Friday, June 17, 2022.  Alene was a loving wife, sister and aunt.  She is preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, Dennis R. Richardson; her parents, Harrison H. and Goldie S. Reese; and her sister, Iris R. Hunt.

She is survived by her nephew, Brenton M. Hunt and wife, Karon, of Roanoke, VA.; great niece, Amber Howard and husband, Cody; and great-great- niece, Lakelyn Howard, of Salem, VA.; also, a number of cousins and special friends.

There will be a graveside service on Friday, June 24, 2022, 2 p.m. at Sherwood Memorial Park in Salem, Virginia (behind Lotz Funeral Home).  The service will be officiated by Reverend Terry Mabry.  The family will receive friends, Friday, June 24, 2022 at 1 p.m. at Lotz Funeral Home Salem.
