WILLIAM EDWARD HARTMAN

William Edward “Bill” Hartman, 81, of Salem, passed away Thursday, December 28, 2017.  He was a veteran of the U.S. Army. 

He was preceded in death by his wife, Corene B. Hartman and a son, William Dale Hartman. 

Surviving is a sister, Frances Williams, son and daughter-in-law, Eddie and Tracy Hartman, son, Jeffrey Dean Hartman, daughter, Renee Hartman, daughter, Rhonda Ihlenburg, grandchildren, Heather Thomas, Stephen Hall, Jr., William David Marsh, Jr., Lindsey Thompson, Johnny Morgan, Sierra Holland and Joseph Ihlenburg, eight greatgrandchildren. 

The family would like to thank Dr. Vashist Nobbee, Dr. Mark Currie, Dr. Stephan Vivian and the staff of 3 West at Lewis Gale Medical Center for their wonderful care. 

A Memorial Service will be conducted 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, January 3rd, 2018 at Lotz Salem Chapel.

The family will receive friends prior to the service.
