The Adkins' family sends sincere condolences to Ruth's family. Our connection with Ruth (we called her Handy) was through our parents who served together in the service during WW II. Handy & I would communicate over the years. When I called as of late and the phone had been disconnected, I knew something was wrong. Handy loved The Lord and loved her family. I will miss talking with her on the phone. I do have pictures if the family is interested in them.

Ruth was one of the most amazing women I knew. She was an inspiration to many people. Ruth was a "relative by marriage" to my mother-in-law, Ruth Anna Wiggington Stoutamire. The Wigington family spelled their last name differently - including Ruth Ann's brother! Wonderful family. Love and condolences to all her family and friends. She will be missed but leaves great memories for all of us.

It was a pleasure working with and getting acquainted with Ms. Wigington. She was a remarkable woman. It has been wonderful to witness the love and admiration that countless others had for her, especially attentive was Jeffra Clough, Sue Watson, and Jenny Watson Jamison. May all of her family and friends accept my condolences. Ms. Wigington will be remembered with fondness.

I absolutely loved Ms Ruth!! When she was in Richfield she tried to come to my wedding that was held there but she wasn't up to it...
Not only did she touch my life and heart she also touched my parents. She was a strong lady- nothing got her down and she bounced back from so much. She will forever hold a piece of my heart and will never be forgotten. ❤️
